Hometown fire auxiliary installs officers

The Hometown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary recently installed their 2025 officers at the recent monthly meeting.

Officers include Lori Kane, president; Cheryl Martuscelli, vice president; Kara Humes, secretary; Sue Deesing, treasurer and Patty Valasek, trustee.

“Our ladies have a lot of great ideas planned for 2025. This past year we hosted events such as a Children’s Ornament and Canvas paint and an Election Day food sale,” Kane said.

“All of these efforts are done to help raise funds for the Hometown Fire Company.”

As with many organizations, Kane said, volunteering is down.

“We invite new members to get involved because without volunteers we will not have a fire company,” she said.

The Ladies Auxiliary meets throughout the year and welcomes new members.
