Fire destroyed a home Monday evening along Ben Titus Road in the Still Creek area of Rush Township.
Hometown Volunteer Fire Company Chief Michael Humes said no injuries were reported.
When crews arrived, he said, flames were pouring from the back of the building and its left side. Residents were able to safely exit, he said.
Humes said firefighters extinguished the flames within 30 minutes.
“Everybody did a good job. It was a quick knockdown,” he said.
Humes said a state police fire marshal determined the cause of the fire was electrical in nature. It started in the rear of the home.
