A home was heavily damaged by fire last evening in Rush Township. Numerous calls reported flames coming from a home at 121 Ben Titus Road. The first Hometown fire company officer arriving on scene reported a working dwelling fire. Numerous fire companies from Schuylkill and Luzerne countries responded to the scene. The family managed to escape the flames.
