Two seriously hurt In Route 33 crash

Two drivers were hurt in a crash at 7:05 a.m. Sunday on Route 33 in Stockertown Borough.

State police at the Belfast barracks did not release the identities nor residences of the drivers but said they sustained suspected serious injuries and were transported by personnel from the St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus, Easton, by personnel from the Suburban and Nazareth ambulance corps.

Police said the crash happened when a 2004 Honda CRV was traveling southbound in the north bound lane and crashed into a northbound 2017 Chevrolet Equinox. They said both vehicles had to be removed from the scene by towing services.
