The Lansford Historical Society Museum on East Bertsch Street will be open to the public from 1 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, the day after Christmas, for people to view its holiday display featuring ornaments and decorations from days gone by.
Some of the Christmas ornaments and decoration date back to the late 1800s, and the museum also has a collection of Christmas decoration from Lansford home in the 1940s. People are invited to stop by and view the holiday display, as well as the other displays of Lansford’s rich history.
More than 70 people came out for the museum’s annual open house held in conjunction with St. John Byzantine Catholic Church across the street on Dec. 15.
