A 12-year-old Tamaqua boy was cited after police were called to East Maple Avenue, Norwegian Township, at noon on Dec. 12, state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks said.

Police said they were summoned there for a report of a crime.

It was determined that an aggravated assault occurred against a teacher by a student.

However, two adult victims were listed by police: a 51-year-old man from Ringtown and a 53-year-old man from Minersville.
