Senior Center

The Panther Valley Senior Center announced the menu for Dec. 23-27.

Monday: Pepper Steak, Rice, Cauliflower, Peas, Fruit Salad or Roast Beef Sandwich.

Tuesday: Center Closed.

Wednesday: Center Closed

Thursday: Sausage, Pasta, Broccoli and Cauliflower, Cookie or Tuna Salad.

Friday: Pork, Sauerkraut, Mashed Potatoes, Carrots, Pudding or Chicken and Cheese Sandwich.

The senior center also announced the following events.

Movie and Popcorn on Dec. 20 at 10 a.m.

Bingo on Dec. 23 at 10:45 a.m., Center Closed on Dec. 24 and 25; Game Day on Dec. 26 at 10:30 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Dec. 27 at 11 a.m.

Games on Dec. 30 at 11 a.m.; New Year’s Eve Party on Dec. 31 at 10:30 a.m.; Center Closed on Jan. 1; Bingo on Jan. 2 at 10:45 a.m.; Po-Keeno on Jan. 3 at 11 a.m.

Cards, Pool, Games, available daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. New members are welcome.

Hometown Hero Banners

The Nesquehoning Veterans Banner program is now open for 2025.

If you would like to purchase a new banner, applications are available. Deadline to purchase a new banner is Feb. 5, 2025.

Also, if you purchased a banner to be displayed in 2022, 2023 and 2024, you have already been contacted and provided with the renewal information. Deadline for renewals is Jan. 24, 2025.
