State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported:

• A 38-year-old Effort man is facing charges of driving under the influence after police made a traffic stop at 1:13 p.m. Dec. 14. He was stopped in a 2015 Dodge Ram truck for Motor Vehicle Code violations in the 100 block of Gypsum Road, Hamilton Township.

• An 18-year-old woman from Saylorsburg is the victim of a theft reported at 8:22 p.m. Dec. 9 at a property on Grassy Run, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said she reported her checking account was compromised.
