State police at Frackville
State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police said a 44-year-old man from Shenandoah shot himself with a crossbow at 1:18 p.m. Dec. 1 at the intersection of Whippoorwill and Morea roads in West Mahanoy Township.
Police said the arrow went through the left side of the man’s chest. Police assisted emergency services personnel to stabilize the man and was flown to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
• Seven all-terrain vehicles were stolen in a commercial burglary at a property on Herald Road, Shenandoah. A 35-year-old woman from Mahanoy City reported the incident at 1:12 p.m. Dec. 10, telling police that someone entered the building and took the ATVs.
• Carlos Caal-Pop, 34, of Shenandoah, is facing charges of driving under the influence after he was stopped by police at 1:18 a.m. Dec. 9. He was driving a 2010 GMC Terrain in Mahanoy Township.
• A 20-year-old man from Pine Grove told police he was assaulted on Nov. 27. He reported the incident at 12:28 p.m. Dec. 2, saying it occurred at a party in the woods in Blythe Township.
• A 12-year-old boy from McAdoo is the victim of a harassment by physical contact incident police were called to at 3:19 p.m. Nov. 21.
The incident occurred on Grove Street in Kline Township when the boy and two other students exited a bus at a stop and one of the students punched the boy several times while the other filmed the act.
• Two Coaldale residents were cited after police were called to a report of an active domestic incident reported by a Pennsylvania constable at 3:11 p.m. Dec. 12 on East Phillips Street in that borough.
Police said a 55-year-old man was charged with simple assault and harassment, while a 53-year-old woman was cited for harassment.
Police said they were involved in a physical altercation that left the woman with injuries.
• Police said that a 1994 white Ford F-150 was stolen from a parking lot in Cumbola on Dec. 2.
