State police at Frackville are investigating a crash Tuesday afternoon in Walker Township. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 443 and Wildcat Road. Those involved were being evaluated by Lehighton paramedics. Fire companies from West Penn, Walker Township, Tamaqua and New Ringgold responded to the scene. Area fire police maintained traffic control at the scene reducing Route 443 to one alternating lane.
