Monroe County crashes

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following crashes:

• Three people had minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 9:19 a.m. Dec. 10 on Neola Road in Hamilton Township.

Police identified them as Jacquel Worrell-Campisi, 75, Oneal W. Cortez, 34, and Caden S. McIver, 18, all of Stroudsburg. They said Worrell-Campisi was not transported from the scene but Cortez and McIver were transported by personnel from the St. Luke’s Emergency and Transport Services to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, East Stroudsburg.

The crash occurred when Worrell-Campisi, driving a 2015 Volvo, failed to yield the right of way while crossing an intersection, police said. They said the Volvo was struck by a 2014 Ford Fusion operated by Cortez, who had McIver as a passenger.

After impact, the Fusion hit a utility pole. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Police said Worrell-Campisi was cited after the crash.

• Casey L. Horan, 40, of Saylorsburg, sustained suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 8:01 p.m. Nov. 20 on Route 115 in Hamilton Township.

She was also charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and cited for leaving the roadway, police said.

Horan was transported by personnel from the Wind Gap Ambulance Corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono, East Stroudsburg.

Police said she was driving a 2011 Subaru Outback southbound when she lost control of it while negotiating a right curve. The vehicle traveled off the road, struck an embankment and rolled over several times.

As the vehicle rolled, it hit a PennDOT sign and a mailbox. The Subaru had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Police said Horan had to be extricated from the vehicle by fire department personnel. Police said alcohol was found inside the vehicle.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:47 p.m. Oct. 15 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township.

Police said the crash occurred when an unknown vehicle traveling north cut off a 2006 Toyota Highlander driven by Lillianne F. Pantophlet, 21, of Phillipsburg, New Jersey, and slowed down as the driver slammed on the brakes, resulting in the Highlander striking the rear of the slowing vehicle, which failed to stop.

Pantophlet and a passenger, Dalton B. Rothrock, 23, of Kunkletown, were not hurt in the incident, police said.
