Beverly Butrie and Susan Rhoads, both of Lehighton, completed the Lutheran God, Home and Country Program and were presented emblems during the worship service at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lehighton.

Both girls are 16 years of age and are members of Senior Girl Scout Troop 583.

Susan is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Rhoads and Beverly is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Butrie.

The God, Home and Country Emblem is presented by the Lutheran congregations to their young people who have given evidence of faithfulness and usefulness to the church and community and have a commendable Girl Scout record.
