A fun and festive event before the holidays was held this past weekend in Lehighton.
The Lehighton Downtown Initiative hosted its third Annual Hometown Vintage Christmas from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday.
There were vendors, live music, food, 60 crafters and activities for all, not to mention Christmas trees in the park, free horse and wagon rides, and the LDI businesses in the Candy Cane Lane.
Santa Claus visited with children, who told him all about what they wanted for Christmas. There were also Christmas crafts and games for all the children to participate in while listening to live music.
New this year was a glass blowing demonstration, along with a Candy Cane Lane passport competition.
