State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:
• Austin S. Wilburn, 27, of Palmerton, escaped injuries when he swerved his vehicle to avoid striking a deer and it crashed at 12:47 a.m. on Dec. 5 on Kunkletown Road in Ross Township.
Police said he was eastbound when the deer entered the roadway in front of his vehicle, a 2015 GMC Sierra. It traveled off the right side of the road and struck a ditch before overturning onto its roof.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
• A 21-year-old woman from Miami, Florida, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after crash at 8:12 p.m. on Nov. 30 on Blue Ridge Road in Ross Township.
Police said she was driving a vehicle that backed into another vehicle. They said she was visibly intoxicated and taken into custody.
The other driver was a 35-year-old man from Hatboro.
A Subaru Legacy and a 2020 Ford F-150 were involved in the incident.
• Heidi M. Gearhart, 44, of Gilbert, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:41 p.m. on Nov. 26 at the intersection of Route 115 and Mountain Road in Ross Township.
Police said she was transported by emergency medical services personnel to the Lehigh Valley Hospital.
They said the crash occurred when Sandra J. Fisher, 74, of Stroudsburg, driving a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound on Route 115, failed to stop in time and hit the back of a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Gearhart, who had slowed her vehicle at the intersection with Mountain Road.
Police said the Jeep was towed from the scene, while the Trailblazer had damage but could be driven.
Fisher was cited for following too closely, police said.
