The oaths of office to newly-elected officers of the Carbon County Magistrates Association will be given by John J. Unitis of Coaldale, president of the Pennsylvania Magistrates Association.

To be installed as head of the Carbon organization are Herbert Norwood of Nesquehoning, president, Lewis Williams of Lehighton, vice president, and Melba Kobal of Mahoning Township, secretary-treasurer.

In conjunction with the meeting, he magistrates will honor Ralph S. Richards of Lansford on the occasion of his 75th birthday. Richards has served as Justice of the Peace in Lansford for more than 28 years.
