State police at Bethlehem - crashes

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following crashes:

• Charles N. Snyder Jr., 73, of Slatington, was cited after a crash at 10:48 p.m. Nov. 10 on Main Street in Washington Township.

Police said he had a head injury and was transported by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Snyder was driving a 2020 Ford Ranger northbound when a deer jumped onto the roadway, police said. He swerved to avoid striking the deer but lost control of the Ranger, which went off the road and hit a fence.

The pickup had damage but was able to be driven, police said.

• A 2018 Toyota RAV4 struck a deer at 5:20 p.m. Nov. 26 on Route 309 near the intersection with Brook Street in North Whitehall Township.

Police did not identify the driver, who was able to drive the vehicle from the scene after it hit the deer with its front bumper.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:35 p.m. Dec. 5 at the intersection of Oakwood Lane and Park Avenue in Washington Township.

Police said the crash involved a 2018 Toyota RAV4 driven by Joseph T. Devlin, 80, of Telford, and a 2022 Ford Expedition operated by Jeffrey J. Frantz, 66, of Slatington.

Police said Devlin was cited after the crash.

• Lisa L. Miller, 64, of Laurys Station, was cited following a two-vehicle crash at 4:51 p.m. Dec. 5 at the intersection of Weaversville Road and the North Bath Boulevard in Allen Township. No injuries were reported.

Police said she was driving a 2024 Honda CRV that was involved in the crash with a 2006 Honda Ridgeline operated by Michael W. Palladino, 59, of Bethlehem.

• Johnique A. Coston, 22, of Tamaqua, was cited after a two-vehicle crash at 9:38 p.m. Nov. 10 on Route 22 in Whitehall Township. No injuries were reported.

Police said Coston was driving a 2014 Cadillac westbound when she lost control of it. The vehicle struck a concrete barrier, after which Coston swerved back to the right and struck a 2020 Volvo driven by Khaled A. Adbeib, 40, of LaSalle, Quebec, Canada.

Police said the Cadillac had disabling damage, while the Volvo had minor damage.

• Two vehicles were damaged in a crash at 6:58 a.m. Nov. 19 on Route 873 in Washington Township.

Police said the crash occurred when a 2008 Volkswagen Passat, traveling north, struck the rear bumper of a 2016 Audi that has slowed due to approaching traffic.

Police did not identify the drivers of the vehicles.

• David A. Martin III, 24, of Saylorsburg, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle crash at 6:02 p.m. Nov. 18 on Route 22 in Hanover Township.

Police said he was driving a 2008 Chevrolet that struck the rear of a 2019 Ford Explorer operated by Carlos J. Bernudez Alcivar, 43, of Newark, New Jersey.

Bernudez complained of back pain but refused medical treatment at the scene, police said.

The Chevrolet was towed from the scene, while the Explorer was able to be driven.
