The Spirit of Christmas continues throughout the month in Tamaqua with free horse-drawn trolley rides.

Rides from Leiby’s Carriage Service will be offered from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 12 and Dec. 19 in downtown Tamaqua.

Riders will be able to access the trolleys on South Railroad Street in the vicinity of Tink’s Antiques.

Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling Judy at 570-778-7136.

The Tamaqua Spirit of Christmas Committee noted that the trolley rides are available thanks to the generosity of several local businesses and organizations, including Bowe & Odorizzi Law Office, Boyle Electro Mechanical, Vince Boyle Team Re/Max, Hollenbach Home Comfort Services, Law Office of Christine Holman, La Dolce Casa Restaurant and the Owl Creek Reservoir Commission.
