State police at Bethlehem - crashes

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following crashes:

• A passenger in one of two vehicles involved in a crash at 3:46 p.m. Dec. 1 on Route 33 in Hamilton Township had possible injuries, police said.

Tatiana V. Navarro, 18, of Pooler, Georgia, complained of neck pain after the crash.

Police said the crash occurred when a 2017 Ford Fusion driven by Christopher A. Corvasce, 33, of East Stroudsburg, struck the rear of a 2012 Cadillac operated by Stefanny G. Molina Portillo, 22, of Easton. Police said both vehicles were damaged, but were able to be driven.

Navarro was a passenger with Molina Portilla. Police said both drivers and another passenger were uninjured.

Police said Corvasce was cited for following too closely.

• No one was injured in a crash at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 15 on Interstate 80 in Hamilton Township.

Police said the crash occurred when Daelen M. Weston, 19, of Yorkville, New York, was driving a 2013 Audi and merged onto on the interstate westbound. He observed no room to access the left lane and veered back to the right lane, striking an unknown vehicle. The vehicle that was struck continued westbound, while the Audi had to be towed.

• Injuries were averted in a two-vehicle crash at 2:50 a.m. Nov. 14 on Interstate 80 in Pocono Township.

Police said the crash occurred when Gregory K. Wright Sr., 57, of Tobyhanna, was driving a 2014 Mercedes-Benz and attempted to merge onto the interstate. They said the Mercedes struck the front corner of a 2023 International Harvester operated by McQueen Ovando, 33, of Slatington.

Wright was cited, police said.
