Strubinger Law office welcomes new attorney
Strubinger Law, a workers’ compensation law firm serving Monroe, Schuylkill and Carbon counties, announces the addition of attorney Matthew G. Strubinger to its team.
Strubinger, a Lehighton native and 2017 graduate of Lehighton Area High School, brings a wealth of legal experience and academic excellence to the firm. After earning his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Elizabethtown College in 2021, Strubinger gained national experience interning at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., where he contributed to the Strategic Communications Staff at the Executive Office for United States Attorneys.
Continuing his education at Widener University Commonwealth Law School, Strubinger excelled academically and practically. Graduating in 2024 in the top 25% of his class with a certificate in advocacy, he was recognized with the CALI Excellence for the Future Award. Strubinger also distinguished himself as a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society, securing Second Place Advocate at the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County’s 58th Annual Mock Trial Competition.
In addition to these accolades, Strubinger broke new ground as the first certified legal intern in Carbon County’s history. He served under court-appointed conflict counsel with the Carbon County Public Defender’s Office, demonstrating his commitment to serving his local community.
As a certified legal intern at the Central Pennsylvania Law Clinic, he provided vital legal assistance to indigent clients in Dauphin County, showcasing his dedication to equal access to justice.
Matthew’s journey with Strubinger Law began long before his formal admission to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in 2024. During breaks from college and law school, he honed his skills as a legal intern for the firm, gaining practical experience and building strong ties to the team and its mission.
Now, as a full-fledged member of Strubinger Law, Matthew Strubinger is eager to contribute to its legacy of legal excellence and advocacy for the injured and disabled.
