Along with the tree lighting festivities, the event will also host a food drive in which nonperishable food items will be collected that will benefit the Northern Lehigh Food Bank.
Jessica O’Donnell-Gower, Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce liaison, said the GNLCC is proud to partner with Slatington Borough.
“Anytime we can bring the community together, it is truly rewarding for us,” O’Donnell-Gower said. “We’re here to spread jolly holiday spirit, and just hoping the community will come out.”
