NL recognizes administrator, two school principals

Northern Lehigh School District recognized staff for recent awards at the board meeting Tuesday night.

Director of Educational Technology, Curriculum, and Instruction Scott Pyne has been named as the Curriculum Leader of the Year by the Pennsylvania Association of School Curriculum and Development.

“This prestigious award highlights Scott’s dedication, expertise, and outstanding contributions to advancing curriculum and instruction in our district and beyond,” said Assistant Superintendent Dr. Tania Stoker. “Please join me in congratulating Scott on this well-deserved honor and celebrating his commitment to educational excellence and making every story better here at Northern Lehigh School District.”

Stoker also recognized Northern Lehigh Middle School and Northern Lehigh High School for being recognized as College & Career for Every Student Brilliant Pathways Schools of Distinction.

Stoker noted this marks the third such recognition for the high school, and the second for the middle school.

“Each school of distinction must submit a comprehensive portfolio showing evidence of career and college education, mentoring, and essential skills building,” she said. “This award shows the dedication each school puts into developing students who are ready to make important decisions about their futures and building their capacity to understand college and career readiness.”
