Faith Alive Church

Faith Alive Church, 678 Pine St., Palmerton (Bowmanstown) holds two services each Sunday with Pastor Rob Timlin. A contemporary service is held at 8:30 a.m., followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:45 a.m. A traditional service is held at 11 a.m.

December Mission: Allentown Rescue Mission to benefit homeless, addicted and disabled people’s lives.

Save the date: Free pork and sauerkraut dinner Jan. 1 from noon-2 p.m. Sign up in the lobby or call the office, 610-852-2805, to arrange pickup time. Deadline is Dec. 20. Donations are accepted.

A seven-week program of hope will be held in 2025. The church is looking for leaders, hosts and participants. A sign-up sheet is located in the lobby for all who are interested.

Blue Mountain Community Church

Blue Mountain Community Church, 25 Oak St., Palmerton, invites everyone to Sunday services held at 8:45 and 10:30 a.m.

During the week there are small groups, teen nights, Celebrate Recovery and so much more that will help you get connected and grow your relationship with Jesus.

The church’s annual Christmas Eve Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Dec. 24 at Penn’s Peak. Everyone is welcome. Come early for refreshments.

No reservations or tickets are needed.

Jerusalem Evangelical

Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church is holding a Meat Pie Sale. Choose from chicken, pork, chicken/pork mix or beef. Orders are due by Jan. 5.

Pickup is noon- 2 p.m. Jan. 20 at the church at 500 Church Drive, Trachsville.

St. John’s UCC

St. John’s UCC will hold a Free Community Meal from 4:30-6 p.m. on Dec. 9 at the church, 891 Columbia Ave., Palmerton.

The meal is pork and sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, carrots and desserts.

No takeouts before 5:30 p.m.
