Danny and Ralph Cipko helped Lansford Improvement Committee members make the Christmas season brighter in the community, presenting them with $4,000.

The funds will be used to purchase additional Christmas lights for Kennedy Park and for more Christmas “Angels” to extend the street lighting program in the town.

The Cipko brothers, who have been playing “Santa” in Lansford for years, said this year’s donation is in memory of Robert Leibensperger, president of the improvement committee who passed away last month.

The donation was accepted by Vice President Diane Leonzi.
