State police at Fern Ridge - crashes

State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:

• Police said a 2023 Mazda CX50 was damaged in a one-vehicle crash at 10:07 a.m. Nov. 22 on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.

They did not identify the driver, but said the vehicle was westbound in inclement weather when the driver lost control. The vehicle traveled off the left shoulder of the road, went down an embankment and struck a ditch.

Police said the driver was uninjured and was able to drive the vehicle from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:47 a.m. Nov. 22 on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.

Police did not identify the driver of the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander that was eastbound in inclement weather when it went out of control, traveled off the right shoulder and struck a guide rail.

Police said the vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.

• A 2010 Ford F-150 pickup was damaged in a crash at 7 a.m. Nov. 22 on East Old Stage Road, Penn Forest Township.

Police did not identify the driver, who was uninjured. They said the pickup was eastbound in inclement weather when the driver lost control of it. The truck went off the right shoulder and hit a road sign.

The pickup had minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene.

• Police were called to a hit-and-run crash at 2:07 p.m. Nov. 15 at the intersection of routes 903 and 534 in Kidder Township.

They said a vehicle struck the rear of a 2013 Honda Civic that was operated by Moyan Shi, 33, of Newark, Delaware, who was southbound on Route 903. Police said the striking vehicle was a brown-colored commercial vehicle that left the scene.

The Honda had a cracked bumper and was able to be driven from the scene.
