State police at Lehighton
State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 21-year-old Whitehall man who police said was highly intoxicated is facing multiple charges after an incident on Preacher’s Camp Road, Towamensing Township.
Police were called for a report of an out-of-control intoxicated man between 11 p.m. Nov. 22 and 1:33 a.m. Nov. 23.
Police did not name the man but charged him with possession of a gun without a permit or license, simple assault by physical menace, criminal trespass and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Police said a vehicle involved in the incident was towed from the scene.
Victims in the incident are a 20-year-old Palmerton man, a 53-year-old Lehighton man and a 19-year-old Danielsville woman.
• Police were called to at 11:36 a.m. Nov. 19 for a theft at a property on Ashley Lane, East Penn Township. Police said $350 was stolen from a 60-year-old Lehighton woman.
• A 25-year-old man from Lehighton and a 26-year-old man from Lansford were charged with terroristic threats after police were called to East Patterson Street in Lansford at 10:38 p.m. Nov. 16.
Police said the incident involved two Lansford women, ages 35 and 40.
The said the men arrived at a house and attempted to gain entry by kicking the door. The also threatened the women and damaged their vehicle.
• A 19-year-old Kunkletown man is facing charges of driving under the influence of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 8:41 p.m. Nov. 14.
He was stopped in a 2008 Volkswagen for a Motor Vehicle Code violation on Forest Inn Road, Lower Towamensing Township.
• A 17-year-old Lehighton boy is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 3:57 a.m. Nov. 14.
He was stopped in a 2006 Infiniti for Title 75 violations on East Penn Street in Lehighton.
• A 24-year-old Hazleton man was charged after an incident at 7:44 a.m. Nov. 24.
Police said it occurred at the police barracks on Interchange Road, Towamensing Township.
• A 45-year-old man from Lansford is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 12:13 a.m. Nov. 24.
The man was stopped in a 1999 Saturn for a Motor Vehicle Code violation on Interchange Road in Franklin Township.
