From fresh greens and wreaths to baked goods and jewelry, the third annual Christkindl Market at the Perla Building in Tamaqua will have something for everyone.
“This year is our biggest. We will have over 40 vendors,” explained Lance Williams, marketing director.
The indoor shopping extravaganza will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 105 W. Broad St.
“We do have a lot of repeat vendors — and we do have some new vendors,” Williams said.
Among the offerings, he noted, will be handcrafted goods, independent consultants, watercolor paintings, cards, baked goods, jewelry, jams, crystals and gems, clothing and soaps.
Hope and Coffee will serve coffee and other offerings, and the parents of students in Tamaqua Area High School’s Class of 2026 will serve food and beverages. All proceeds will benefit the class.
“It is a one-stop shop. Everything is right there for you,” Williams said.
A complete list is posted to the Perla Building’s Facebook page.
The event is always held on Small Business Saturday.
“It’s great to bring this to the community, because people from within the community and surrounding areas come to it,” Williams said.
And when they do, he said, they not only support market vendors, they also support other local businesses, whether it be restaurants, stores or other sites.
Sponsors include the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce, C.A.R.E.S., and the Vince Boyle Team at Re/Max Real Estate.
