State police at Schuylkill Haven - crashes

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks reported the following crashes:

• Robert E. Seltzer II, 65, of Llewellyn, was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:33 p.m. Nov. 11 on Route 209 (Coal Street) in Port Carbon.

Police said he was transported by personnel from the Port Carbon Fire Department ambulance to an area hospital.

They said the crashes occurred when he was the operator of a 2018 Dodge Ram truck that was parked on the right shoulder of the road when he tried to make an illegal U-turn and struck a westbound 2010 Subaru Outback operated by Cheyenne P. Watkins, 29, of Port Carbon.

Police said Seltzer was cited after the crash.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crashes at 5:53 p.m. Nov. 12 on Route 895 (Market Street) in West Brunswick Township.

Police said the crash occurred when James B. Chadwick, 59, of Auburn, driving a 2018 Dodge Ram truck, entered the intersection with the Centre Turnpike and struck a 2019 Honda driven by Rebecca M. Nye, 36, also of Auburn.

Chadwick was cited for after the crash, police said.
