The annual Christmas on the Hill event in Summit Hill will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8.
The program is sponsored by the Summit Hill Recreation Commission and will be held in Ludlow Park from 5-7 p.m.
Kathy Gieniec, chairman of the Recreation Commission, said there will be free trolley rides, refreshment, free teddy bears and, of course, the arrival of Santa.
Gieniec said Santa will be transported to the park via a fire truck at about 6:30 p.m.
She said the Sons of the American Legion donated $150 to cover the cost of the trolley rides.
Walters Monuments donated $500 to purchase the teddy bears.
The bears will be given by members of the Summit Hill Police Department.
Gieniec said there also will be a bake sale. Donations for the bake sale can be dropped-off at the park at 5 p.m. on the day of the event.
The rain date for Christmas on the Hill will be Sunday, Dec. 15.
