Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton, presented its first-ever Golden Brick Award to employee Lana Kuehner, LPN, during an employee recognition program held at the Blue Mountain Ski Lodge, Lower Towamensing Township.

The award recognizes the employee who has shown pride, commitment and dedication in the workplace, and who is nominated by fellow employees. Kuehner received the award also for “the kindness and commitment she has shown toward patients and her fellow employees,” hospital officials said.

A GHMH employee since 1970, she will graduate from St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in December as a registered nurse.
