Tamaqua Middle School Student Council delivered close to 3,000 canned food items to the Tamaqua Hunger Campaign and Community Volunteers in Action in Pottsville for their Make A Difference Day project.
Collection occurred at the Tamaqua Middle School throughout the month of October.
Tamaqua Middle School Student Council delivered close to 3,000 canned food items to the Tamaqua Hunger Campaign and Community Volunteers in Action in Pottsville for their Make A Difference Day project. Boxes were placed in each classroom and teachers encouraged students to fill their bin in order to obtain the champion banner. Michael Murphy’s students donated the most with over 500 cans.
