November 19, 1999 — Trevor Micklos and Maurice Stallings both top 100 yards rushing as Pleasant Valley defeats Northampton 21-12 to win the Eastern Conference Class IV championship. Micklos collects 141 yards — 123 of them coming in the first half — on 18 carries and scores the game’s first touchdown on a 2-yard run in the opening quarter. Stallings adds 122 yards on 10 attempts and accounts for the Bears’ third tally on a 50-yard run in the second frame. PV’s other TD comes on a 1-yard run by Mike Borger that completes an 11-play, 52-yard scoring drive. The Bears, coached by Tony Caracio, finish the season with an 8-4 record.
