State police at Bethlehem — crashes
State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following crashes:
• Police cited a driver after a crash at 1:26 p.m. Nov. 8 on Bake Oven Road in Heidelberg Township. No one was hurt in the crash.
Two vehicles were northbound when traffic stopped and one of the vehicles, a 2022 Ford F550, backed into the front of a 2022 BMW, police said.
• Jordan D. Kilraine, 31, of Slatedale, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 2:25 p.m. Nov. 7 on Main Street in Washington Township, police said. She was uninjured in the incident.
Police said she was driving a 20154 Dodge Journey west on Main Street when she failed to negotiate a left curve. The vehicle exited the right side of the road and hit a mailbox and tree.
• Nelson E. Plant IV, 38, of Saylorsburg, was uninjured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:49 p.m. Nov. 7 on Route 22 in Whitehall.
Police said he was driving a 2018 Honda Accord when an unknown vehicle veered left and struck the Honda then fled the scene.
Plant attempted to follow the vehicle but was unsuccessful, according to police.
• Lenore A. Muthler, 69, of Slatington, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle crash at 11:07 a.m. Nov. 5 on Route 309 in North Whitehall Township, police said. No one was injured in the crash.
Police said Muthler was driving a 2013 Toyota Highlander that was involved in a crash with a 2015 Nissan Rogue operated by Rosalyn M. Weslosky, 47, of Schnecksville.
• Melissa S. Dietz, 44, of Walnutport, sustained suspected minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 10:09 a.m. Oct. 25 on Route 309 in North Whitehall Township, according to police.
She was treated at the scene by personnel from the Northern Valley ambulance but was not transported to a medical facility, police said.
Dietz was driving a 2009 Ford Focus southbound when it left its lane of travel, crossed into the northbound lane, continued on the shoulder and struck a parked 2010 Nissan Murano, police said. The Focus then hit a utility pole and mailbox before coming to rest.
Police said Dietz was cited after the crash.
