Saints Peter and Paul Church announces its schedule for the church located at 260 N. Third St., Lehighton:
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered on the Lord’s Day at Saints Peter and Paul Parish by the Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr., throughout the year at 4 p.m. on Saturdays, 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Sundays, and 8 a.m. Monday through Friday for daily Mass. We welcome you, or welcome you back, to worship the Lord at our parish.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available from 5 to 6 p.m. on Thursdays, and about 30 minutes before Masses on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Eucharist is exposed for personal prayer from noon to 9 p.m. every Thursday. We particularly need adorers between 5 and 7 p.m. On first Fridays; we also have Adoration and Confessions available from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process of formation for disciples of Jesus in the Catholic Church. For those interested in learning more about the Catholic Church and receiving any of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Eucharist and Confirmation), contact the rectory.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Allentown is accepting appointments and walk-ins at the parish convent building from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Services include individual, marriage and family counseling; pregnancy and parenting support (counseling, material assistance such as diapers, wipes, baby items); and supportive services (case management, material assistance, emergency rental assistance, referrals). The parish Saint Vincent de Paul Society hosts “Vincent’s Closet” by appointment in the former convent building on 242 N. Third St. The society offers clothing and toiletries for those in need and seeks donations of the same. For more information, call Esther at 570-657-6738.

• Now through Dec. 16, the diocese is partnering with Miller-Keystone Blood Centers to address the severe shortage of blood. Call 1-800-B-A-DONOR or visit giveapint.org to schedule your donation in any of their stable or mobile locations. Be sure to mention the code that MKBC has assigned to Saints Peter and Paul Parish (E287).
The Knights of Columbus Damien Council 598 meets on the first Tuesday of every month in our parish hall at 7 p.m., followed by the Msgr. Agnello Angelini Assembly of the Fourth Degree Knights at 7:30 p.m. The next meeting is on Dec. 3.
• A breakfast will take place in our parish hall on Sunday from 7 a.m. to noon to benefit the annual celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
• The parish CYO will hold a Thanksgiving Bingo on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 1 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. $25 per package. Your admission ticket will give you chances at prizes such as turkeys, pumpkin pies, gift cards and lottery scratch-offs.
• The Christmas Festival takes place in our parish hall from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec, 7 and on Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to noon. Baskets, gift cards and hot food available.
• In celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas and the unborn, a bilingual Mass will be offered on Dec. 12. Food will be offered in the parish hall after Mass, accompanied by mariachi music and a piñata for the kids. Families are welcome.
