Lehigh Township was so over whelmed with all the donations during the recent forest fire from the community from across many counties.

All remaining donations of food and drink will be at the Lehigh Township Fire Company, 4188 Lehigh Drive, Cherryville, from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday for all Lehigh Township residents. Come fill a bag with food for a neighbor, family, or yourself. Anything left after 6 p.m. will be donated accordingly.

Lehigh Township Fire Company reminds everyone there is a ban burn in the township and for all of Northampton County.

A Fire Fund has been set up at Neff’s National Bank due to people wanted to still donate.

This will be used to replace equipment that was broken while fighting the fire on the Blue Mountain.
