November 12, 1988 — Dwayne Fisher carries 21 times for 137 yards and all three of Lehighton’s touchdowns to help the Indians end their season with a 20-18 Centennial League victory over Notre Dame. The winners, coached by Dave Parsons, score on drives of 68, 78 and 52 yards. A 31-yard pass from Dan Bowman to Wayne Dietrich sets up Fisher’s first tally — a 2-yard run. Fisher accounts for 59 of the team’s 78 yards on the second TD march, which ends with a 12-yard burst to the end zone. A 17-yard run by Bowman sets up the third Lehighton score, a 1-yard plunge by Fisher. The Tribe finish with 345 yards with 253 coming on the ground. Dietrich adds a pair of sacks on defense.
