Charles X Block in Tamaqua will celebrate 102 years of style and community support on Thursday.

The store, which specializes in classic men’s fashion, has been a longstanding small business in the heart of downtown since 1922.

“Charles X Block has been a proud part of Tamaqua for over a century,” said Ralph Richards, owner of Charles X Block. “This milestone is a testament to our loyal customers and the strength of shopping small. We’ve always focused on providing quality, style and the best service around. Join us to celebrate this journey together.”

The celebration will take place from 4-8 p.m. at the store, located at 251 W. Broad St., Tamaqua.

There will be special offers, as well as refreshments from Retriever Brewing Company and The Brick House. All are welcome.
