Leaf collection

The annual Leaf Collection in Weatherly will begin the week of Nov. 12, on the east side of the borough, and then proceed to the west side.

Leaves should not be raked to the curbside sooner than Nov. 10, and leaves should not be raked into any street or alley.

Residents are also asked not to put out any large branches, logs or stones, etc.

Office hours

Weatherly Borough announced the dates its offices will be closed for the upcoming holidays.

The office will be closed Monday for Veterans Day, and Nov. 28, 29 and Dec. 2 for Thanksgiving, reopening on Dec. 3.

December 2024 utility bills will be mailed late due the holiday schedule, but garbage pickup will be picked up Monday, Dec. 2.

Traffic notes

Traffic will be one-way headed north on Butz Street from High to West Main streets from Nov. 1 to April 13 for the snow ban.

Residents are also reminded to remove any portable basketball hoops near the road for the winter months.
