Work on a new accessible ramp at the American Legion CH Berry Post 173 on West Broad Street in Tamaqua is almost finished. The Legion used a portion of a small business grant from Tamaqua’s City Revitalization and Improvement Zone (CRIZ) for the project. The American Legion Auxiliary will cover the remaining cost. The ramp, located at the building’s side, is replacing one that was beginning to show its age. JILL WHALEN/TIMES NEWS
