State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following incidents that occurred on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
• Drew Hershock, 36, of Philadelphia, is facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia after police made a traffic stop at 9:37 a.m. Oct. 27 on Interstate 476 in Washington Township.
Police said Hershock was stopped in a 2003 Chevrolet truck for an expired registration, after which time police observed the vehicle displayed annual and emission stickers that were fraudulent.
They said as the officer was removing the stickers he observed drug paraphernalia in plain view.
The victim in the case is Helman Automotive, Ardmore, police said.
• Richard Ritschard, 49, of Pottstown, was cited after police made a traffic stop at 5:13 p.m. Oct. 24.
He was stopped in a 2003 Toyota Highlander for having a suspended registration on the vehicle.
Police also learned the vehicle had an expired registration and fake inspection stickers.
Victims in the incident are Craig Family Automotive, Downingtown, and Steve Shannon Tire and Auto, Lewisburg.
• Police said a man with a suspended license who drove from the scene of a traffic stop was cited after the incident at 3:53 p.m. Oct. 24.
Police stopped a Nissan Altima at mile marker 69.1 in Kidder Township for having an expired registration.
They said the operator told them someone from Scranton was coming to the site to drive the vehicle and that the person had a valid license.
Police said when they made a subsequent traffic stop, the driver of the Nissan left the scene without the presence of the licensed driver.
