Tamaqua Middle School National Junior Honor Society members helped with various projects at the Tamaqua Public Library for their Make A Difference Day project. The event was held recently with 26 members and their adviser, Megan Frantz. The group painted, swept, organized books, dusted, bagged popcorn — and even had the window cleaner out to clean the front doors. Library Director Melissa Hess had many jobs lined up for the group to complete. The group was happy to “Take A Second and Make A Difference” in the community. CONTRIBUTED PHOTO
