The 2,000 guest Great Wolf Lodge in Scotrun attracted a standing-room-only crowd as it opened its doors for a grand celebration. Regis Philbin, television celebrity, was a special guest.

The centerpiece of the $92-million facility that has almost a half million square feet of quarters is the state-of-the-art indoor water park called Bear Track Landing.

The lodge offers spacious suites, a massage parlor, fitness center, arcade and a variety of places to dine and snack.

It is the first Pocono resort to open in 20 years.
