State police at the Pocono barracks reported the following crashes that took place on the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike:
• Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash at 4:38 a.m. Oct. 10 at mile marker 66.9 in Washington Township.
Police said Charnee N. Jackson, 38, of Amarillo, Texas, the driver of one of the vehicles, and Linda M. King, 68, also of Amarillo, were transported by personnel from the Cetronia Ambulance Corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.
They said Jackson was driving a 2044 Toyota Corolla southbound when it veered to the left and struck the center barrier before rolling clockwise and striking a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Robert J. Gundy Jr., 65, of Jim Thorpe.
Police said Gundy attempted to avoid being struck and the Silverado struck a 2023 International Harvester driven by Eloijah A. Rivera, 23, of Lehighton, and then struck the Corolla.
Police said the Corolla and Silverado were towed from the scene.
Jackson was cited for the crass, police said.
• Jonathan S. Wallis, 53, of Phoenixville, was uninjured in an incident at 3:16 p.m. Oct. 10 at mile marker 94.3 in Kidder Township.
Police said he was driving a 2018 Toyota RAV4 northbound when he rounded a curve and hit a tire in its travel lane, running over it with both driver’s side tires.
• Christian Santell-Torres, 29, of Philadelphia, had minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 8:28 a.m. Oct. 24 at mile marker 91.6 in Kidder Township.
Police said he was evaluated at the scene by personnel from the Lehighton Ambulance Association but did not require a medical transport.
They said he was driving a 2024 Hino IL7 northbound when he attempted to avoid a deer in the roadway, swerving to the right and onto the northbound shoulder where it hit an electronic sign with its passenger side portion.
The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene, police said.
