State police at Lehighton - crashes
State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following crashes:
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:49 a.m. Oct. 20 on Route 115 in Ross Township.
Police said the crash occurred when Jeffrey A. Breidinger, 66, of Easton, was driving a 2015 Ford Edge and was exiting Route 33. He failed to stop for a stop sign and the Edge struck a 2011 Ford Mustang driven by Heather Lipkin, 51, of Bethlehem, police said.
Breidinger was cited after the crash, according to police.
• Arlene M. Marmol, 34, of Allentown, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:35 p.m. Oct. 19 on Germans Road in East Penn Township,
Police said she was driving a 2022 Dodge Ram Promaster that left the roadway and struck a tree.
• Nicholas J. Kueck, 30, of Tannersville, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:50 p.m. Oct. 13 on the Jonas Road in Polk Township.
Police said he was driving a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup and lost control of the truck, which spun and then hit a tree on the westbound side of the road.
The truck had to be towed from the scene.
• A 23-year-old Saylorsburg man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance after a crash at 5:54 a.m. Oct. 13 at the intersection of Blue Ridge and Pennell roads, Ross Township.
He was driving a 2012 Jeep Wrangler, police said.
• Nathaniel A. Powell, 29, of Freemansburg, was uninjured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:29 p.m. Oct. 12 on Faulstick Road, Ross Township.
Police said he was driving an eastbound 2020 Nissan Altima that left the road way and struck a tree. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:43 a.m. Oct. 5 on Bridge Street in Weissport.
Police said the crash occurred when Austin M. Melendez, 26, of Lehighton, riding a 2023 Yamaha motorcycle, struck the rear of a 2016 Lexus RX 350 operated by Anthony P. Melchiorre Jr., 64, of Hanover.
