The 2102 iron horse chugs through Hometown Saturday morning on a fall foliage excursion from Reading Outer Station to Jim Thorpe. The steam engine is pulled 16 passenger cars. The trip sold out, with riders paying anywhere from $99 to $299 per person depending on seating and coach selection. Built in 1945, the 2102 is one of only four that exist. DONALD R.
