Palmerton Borough officials are set to unveil and dedicate the renovated municipal building.

The building, erected by the former New Jersey Zinc Company and donated to the borough by Horsehead Resource Development, sits at Delaware Avenue and Fourth Street.

The first and second floors of the building were completely gutted, an elevator was added to facilitate all four floors and minor renovations were made to the third floor.

The building will house the police department and mayor’s offices, Palmerton District Court and the county’s Office on Aging.

HRD’s administrative offices were previously housed in the facility.
