Trump wants to impose more tariffs on imported goods. Who pays those tariffs? YOU do. Not China. Our importers pay them. And they pass the costs on to YOU.

Those higher prices help create Inflation.

Trump imposed so many tariffs on agricultural products last term, that he actually hurt our farmers! He gave them Billions of dollars of free money, to make up for their business losses. Twice! He gave them our money. That helped to create inflation.

Trump’s poor handling of the COVID pandemic helped to create supply chain breakdowns, which created shortages. The shortage of products made prices go up. More inflation. So before you blame Biden and the Democrats for the high food prices we are all paying, look deeper.

The USA is actually the envy of the world, as we have lowered our inflation to a rate that’s better than most other countries. Let’s let the Democrats go after the Cartels that are conniving to keep prices high; when they all agree to charge the same high prices, they are manipulating the market. And that’s illegal.
