John T. Trojan, former president of the Citizens National Bank of Lansford, has been inducted into the Community Bankers of Pennsylvania Hall of Fame, which recognizes community bankers who have made a significant contributions to their communities, bank and associates.

Trojan is one of only 14 community bankers in the state to be honored and was inducted into the hall during CBP’s 18th Annual Convention held in Palm Beach, Florida.

He began his banking career with Citizens in 1944, was named to its board of directors in 1962 and became its president in January, 1990, holding that position until his retirement on March 31, 1991.
