Revisions to the Ryan Memorial Park in the village of Hometown were completed recently.
The park’s tennis court was transformed into a basketball court, pickleball court and tennis court.
Rush Township engineer William McMullen remarked on the court’s new blue color during a recent township supervisors’ meeting.
“It looks really sharp now,” he said.
The park is near the intersection of Ye Olde Hauto and Keller Roads.
The township successfully applied for a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Bureau of Recreation and Conservation’s Community Conservation Partnerships Program.
It also features a disc golf course, picnic table and a covered bridge that crosses a creek.
