Police: Man stabbed East Allen warehouse co-worker

An argument that took place at 6:50 p.m. Tuesday in East Allen Township resulted in the stabbing of one of the employees by a co-worker, who is facing felony, misdemeanor and summary charges, police said.

State police at the Bethlehem barracks said the victim, whom they did not identify, was transported by emergency personnel to the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

Arrested was Cristian Burgos Vasquez, 39, whose address/residence was not released by police.

Taken into custody at the scene, he is charged with a felony count of aggravated assault, a misdemeanor charge of simple assault and a summary offense of harassment.

Police said the stabbing took place at Trader Joe’s Warehouse, 6835 Silver Crest Road in the township. They said Burgos Vasquez and the co-worker got into a verbal argument that escalated, resulting in Burgos Vasquez stabbing the victim multiple times with a knife.

Police were assisted at the scene by Pennsylvania Game Commission officers.
