More than 400 women of the Tri-County Women’s Fersommling Group No. 1 from Schuylkill, Bucks and Lehigh counties celebrated their fifth anniversary during the annual banquet held at the Germansville Fire Company hall.

Mildred Nester of New Tripoli R.1, president of the group, was mistress of ceremonies and introduced the speaker, Sterling Zimmerman of Werley’s Corner, who delivered his address in Pennsylvania Dutch.

Other officers of the group include Lillie George, vice president; Pearl Zehner, second vice president; Norma Troxell, ticket chairperson. Charter members are Marie Welda, Lillian Mengel and Ferne Keller.
